Bear’s Color by Numbers · iPhone, iPad, Amazon Fire, and Google Play
Privacy Policy
Effective October 14, 2026
Bear’s Color by Numbers, developed by James Campbell JR, is designed for coloring without an app account, advertising, or tracking. The app does not collect or send personal information to the developer.
Platforms and separate app data
This policy covers the iPhone and iPad app distributed through Apple’s App Store and the native Android app for Amazon Fire tablets distributed through Amazon Appstore. The Google Play version for Android phones and tablets also uses the same support email. All versions keep separate app data. There is no developer-operated account, shared backend, or cloud service connecting the apps. Coloring progress, favorites, preferences, and purchases do not sync or transfer between Apple, Amazon and Google Play versions.
Information stored on your device
Coloring progress, favorites, preferences, selected colors, and saved canvas positions are stored locally on your device. The app keeps a local recovery backup of progress. This information is not sent to a developer-operated server. Purchase status is also stored locally so previously verified library access can remain available offline.
Your choices and deletion
You can erase coloring progress in the app’s Settings. On iPhone and iPad, deleting the app removes its local data, subject to any device backups you maintain with Apple. Device backup retention and restoration are controlled through Apple’s services and your settings. On Amazon Fire, app backup and device transfer are disabled; uninstalling removes local coloring, favorites, and preferences. Restoring a store purchase restores library access, not coloring progress.
Optional purchases
Five Easy pictures are free. An optional one-time Full Color Library purchase unlocks the remaining pictures; there is no subscription. Apple processes purchases and restoration for iPhone and iPad through the App Store. Amazon processes purchases and restoration for Fire tablets through Amazon Appstore. The apps use store-provided purchase information to determine whether the library is unlocked. The developer does not receive your payment card details.
The Fire app uses Amazon’s Appstore SDK to request store account identification, product information, and purchase receipts. Store account identifiers and entitlement records used by the app stay in its local storage and are not sent to a developer-operated server. Amazon processes purchase requests under its own policies. An Apple purchase does not unlock the Amazon version, and an Amazon purchase does not unlock the Apple version.
Children’s privacy and device permissions
The app does not ask for a child’s name, age, email address, or other personal information. It includes no advertising, third-party analytics, tracking, chat, or user accounts. Coloring does not require access to your camera, microphone, location, contacts, or photo library.
A grown-up gate protects purchase and destructive actions. When device authentication is used, the app receives the authentication result; it does not receive your passcode or Face ID or Touch ID biometric data.
Apple services and TestFlight
App Store purchases, device backups, and TestFlight are Apple services governed by Apple’s policies and your settings. If you test a beta through TestFlight, Apple may make testing information, crash reports, and feedback available to the developer. This is separate from the app’s own data practices.

Amazon services and Live App Testing
Amazon Appstore purchases, account services, and Live App Testing are Amazon services governed by Amazon’s policies and your settings. Purchasing and restoring on Fire require a connection to Amazon; the app does not use a developer-operated purchase or receipt-validation server. Amazon’s store or testing services may process their own service and diagnostic information separately from the app. The app includes no developer analytics, advertising SDK, or tracking service.

Google Play for Android phones and tablets
The Google Play version keeps coloring, favorites, preferences and verified purchase receipts in local app storage, with device backup disabled. It uses Google Play Billing to obtain product details, complete purchases, restore library access and acknowledge purchases. Purchase receipts are checked on the device using this app’s public verification key; there is no developer-operated receipt server. Google handles store account and payment processing under its policies. The developer does not receive payment card information. Neither app progress nor purchases transfer between Google Play, Apple and Amazon.
The app includes no developer analytics, advertising or tracking service. Optional spoken guidance uses your device’s text-to-speech provider and selected voice; that provider may use network services under its own settings and policies. Google Play testing and diagnostics are separate store services; information you choose to send to support is received only to handle your request. See Google’s Privacy Policy.
